Quarterly Report on Copper
The BME Quarterly Report on Copper is the product for the serious analyst of copper market fundamentals looking at the medium and long term future. It is the only commercially available product to cover the copper supply chain end to end, to give you data in user-friendly pdf, hard copy and Excel format, and to put all of this in the context of developments and the financials of major mining companies. To see a sample extract, please click here For over ten years, BME has published a Quarterly Report on Copper. The publication is well respected as a source of copper data and forecasts. It has always provided the most thorough analysis of physical market fundamentals, showing copper's transition through all stages of the process chain, linked in one integrated database. Over the past two years at BME, we have been substantially upgraded our data and forecasting systems, creating the new "CopperChain Database". Summary data and analysis from this is available in our monthly Copper Briefing Service. For the more complete data set and longer term forecast view, you will need our Quarterly. In the new Quarterly Report on Copper we give direct access to detailed historical and forecast data on the copper supply chain, both globally and for individual countries and regions. You will find that the revised, accessible format will allow easy interpretation of our findings, and direct integration of our data within your own analysis. Specifically, our country-by-country, region-by-region coverage gives you a complete supply chain picture from mine through to refined product. We cover output, trade and use of all copper-containing products along the way. You will find profiles for major producers (Chile, Peru, Canada, USA, Zambia, D.R.Congo, Australia, China etc.) and major consumers (China, India, Japan, S. Korea, Germany, Italy, USA etc.), and all of the others on our list of 70 countries specifically covered in the Quarterly. For each country, you will be able to compare output performance with mine and processing capacities, placed side-by-side in this Report. As well as full detail on supply-demand fundamentals, we provide our view on price. This takes into account financial as well as physical market influences. In the following list, we summarise features of the Report, indicating what is new or extended: o An editorial review and five-year historical data and five-year forecast of physical copper market fundamentals and price EXTENDED o A review of copper mining company developments, output and financial performance for the top 17 market players NEW o A news round up covering mining, smelting & refining and copper fabrication for the previous three months NEW o Global and summary tables showing capacity, output, trade and stocks of refined copper products and all other products along the copper process chain covering five-year historical data and five-year forecast.
